Hotel Management announced that Pod Hotels, designed by Richard Born, have opened a new location in Washington D.C. The hotel features 245 rooms at a 150 square feet, designed with blue and yellow colors. Bed arrangements include double, queen, and bunk beds, as well as unique furniture that is multipurpose, such as a desk that doubles as a night stand. The hotel is managed by Modus Hotels, and is the first pod hotel outside of New York City. Stonehill & Taylor worked with Studio Paint to design the hotel, featuring a modern, elegant look to each guestroom.
