Ellis Hotel 5th Georgian Hotel to Receive Green Seal Certification

Published by Green Lodging News, the recently renovated Ellis Hotel in downtown Atlanta was awarded the Silver certification to Green Seal’s Standard for Hotels & Lodging Properties. Only 4 other Georgian hotels boast such an achievement, granted only after an extensive evaluation of the hotel. In order to be awarded the Silver certification, a hotel must prove its commitment to water and energy conservation, waste reduction, and protection of human health and the environment.
