According to CNBC, the upcoming solar eclipse is a unique business opportunity for hotels located within its path. Many hotel chains, including Marriott International, are offering packages to those traveling to see this incredible phenomenon happening for the first time since 1918. When looking at the numbers, hotel bookings are up 60 percent in 16 locations that are in the eclipses path compared to last year's bookings at the same time. One hotel in St. Louis is seeing a 51% increase in demand while others are completely sold out.
