HX: The Hotel Experience - Back-of-the-House Tour and Meal at The Black Barn


At this year's HX: The Hotel Experience, we are excited to offer an exclusive, back-of-the-house tour and meal in of one of Manhattan’s hottest restaurants, The Black Barn. This promises to be an incredible evening, with an impeccable four-course, farm to table dinner, with insight led by chef owner John Doherty. Doherty is known for his creativity in cuisine, tempting guests with unique tastes like curried cauliflower steak and a kale salad tossed in apple cider and buttermilk. These compliment Black Barn’s reputation for creating succulent meat dishes, like BBQ beef ribs, that some reviewers credit simply as the best they have ever tasted.

You’ll tour the kitchen to see the artistry of cuisine prepared at the highest levels. Watch as fresh ingredients are prepped and spiced, and mouth-watering dishes are artfully plated as you head into the dining area. You’ll then get to taste it for yourself, during a specialized dining experience in The Cellar—a stunning private room located in Black Barn’s wine cellar.
