Many hotels nowadays are equipped with a fitness center for guests as an increase in awareness of health and wellness. According to Hotel News Now, companies in the hospitality industry are extending health and wellness programs to their employees - and seeing positive results. Courtyard by Marriot Pune Chakan in Maharashta, India has seen a guest satisfaction increase from 67% in 2015 to nearly 80% in 2017. The hotel's GM states the cause to be Marriott International's TakeCare employee wellness program.
