Ames Boston Hotel Renovation Blends Modern Chic with Old-World Style

According to Lodging Magazine, the Ames Boston Hotel just finished a 6 million dollar renovation and the updates are stunning. The new design of this historic hotel pays homage to the past while capturing a modern, chic look. The lobby features preservation of the original mosaic tile and marble staircase, with the traditional style extending into 'The Library', an open meeting space and work area. The rooms are decorated with a relaxing, neutral color scheme, and a particular suite's design inspired by Boston Bruin Bobby Orr, in honor of his 50th anniversary of signing his first contract with the team.

This renovation perfectly encompasses the latest trends in the hotel industry, such as the concept of a social or work area within the hotel lobby, while preserving the past. To see more of the renovations, visit Lodging Magazine's website here.
